Dr. Tanvi Jakhi is the founder and Medical Director of Mammocare™. She has had a brilliant academic medical career, having earned her medical degree from Sion Hospital, Mumbai, and a post graduate residency in diagnostic radiology at P.D. Hinduja National Hospital, Mumbai in 2008. She has completed her Clinical Fellowship in Breast Imaging from the prestigious University of Toronto, Canada. She has also been an international observer at the world-renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital (Evelyn Lauder Breast Centre), New York.

She is one of the few fellowship-certified breast radiologists in India and has extensive experience in reporting diagnostic and screening mammograms and interpreting breast MRIs. She is an expert at performing all image-guided breast interventions including stereotactic-guided vacuum assisted biopsies. Her special areas of interest include breast MRI and image-guided breast interventions.

She has several international publications to her credit and has been a faculty speaker at national conferences. She is extremely passionate about teaching and has lectured radiology residents as well as practicing radiologists on breast imaging and biopsy techniques, both nationally and internationally.
